GOLD FISH - INBAL PINTO AND AVSHALOM POLLAK DANCE COMPANY - 2012

Goldfish is an intimate journey into the imaginary. A journey that transforms the tiny details of life into whole new worlds those are full of humor and poetry. The eroding routine of life turns sweet and rich, as the chains of the imagination are cut loose. Then, like the stroke of a paintbrush, through the bodies and the talent of the actors and dancers, we find ourselves in a fantasy in which there are endless possibilities. The uniqueness of the show is found in the combination it makes between the arts of dance and theater. It is a show that is full of magic, creativity, humor and beauty, in which members of e all age groups shall take pleasure.

“It’s always tea-time” (said the Hatter with a sigh) … The clocks are ticking, but it seems that time stands still, like in Dickens’ stories, or in the Mad Tea Party, where they stuff the Dormouse in the tea-pot, dip the watch in the tea, and move to a different chair for a clean cup…
Goldfish is a sort of a “sequel”, an adult reincarnation of that tea-party. Marit Ben-Israel
